Fila - My New Jumper and Wishlist

Recently I managed to get myself a new Fila jumper. The brand had been on my radar for a little while since they started selling in Urban Outfitters with their less sports orientated and more fashion focused ranges.

I've really been liking that kind of everyday sporty look. I usually wear this jumper on a chilled out day with black skinny jeans and trainers.

Red Skirt | Turtleneck | Zip up Crop Top

I'm thinking of getting some other clothes by the brand. The red mini skirt would be great for summer and I also really like the turtleneck.

Polka

Top - Topshop
Skirt - Pop Boutique

Hi guys! Recently I've fallen back in love with this skirt again. I've had it for about 4 years now and it frequently switches between sitting in the back of my wardrobe to constantly being in the wash because I wear it that often.

I was definitely inspired by Topshop's latest fashion week to bring back out the polka dots again. The opening with Imaan in those polka dot trousers not only got me ready to bring the classic print out again but it was nice to see someone representing the curly haired girls for once.

For my own look I didn't want to make the pattern look too classic (although I do wear it like this sometimes) so instead I paired it with a ribbed white crop top to make it look a bit more edgy. Combined with my ankle boots and leather jacket I had a complete outfit which took a classic somewhere a bit different.

Turtlenecks & Denim

Jumper - Vintage
Denim Vest - DIY
Skirt - H&M
Lips - Collection Lip Definer in Nude Pink

Hi guys! After a hectic move, no Wi-Fi and the busiest few weeks of my life I'm finally back! I'm going to try to get back to posting more regularly as well.

This outfit is one I wore one day to go into town. I bought this vintage turtleneck jumper the other week and I love it already. Turtlenecks are a massive trend for this fall and I'm already thinking about all the outfit combinations I can do with mine.

This time I paired it with this DIY Denim Vest - it was an age 12 denim jacket I owned from French Connection but not willing to part ways I cut the sleeves off - which I felt added a definite pop of colour and a grungy vibe.

I rarely talk about makeup on my blog (mainly because I'm not very good at it) but the lip liner I'm wearing made me feel like the 3rd Jenner sister. I bought this Collection lip liner from boots for less than £2 just to try out the colour but it actually turned out to be a really good buy as it lasts pretty well even on a night out.

How will you be styling turtlenecks this autumn? Let me know in the comments below or via Twitter.

Until next time,

Grungey Boho Babe

Kimono - H&M
Lace Vest - Hollister
Mom Jeans - Boohoo

This outfits screams summer to me; The long white lace detail kimono and high waisted acid wash jeans. It's almost like 70s Boho and 90s Grunge had an adorable, and slightly confused, baby. I found this Kimono on an off chance. I'd seen a long lace maxi dress in the shop window for H&M and in trying to track it down I found this. I didn't buy that dress in the end because finding this kimono seemed so much better.

It's part of the H&M X Coachella range which explains why it gives off such a festival vibe. If I was going to a festival this year I'd definitely take this with me. Any of you who follow me on Instagram (xtyramx) will know I took it on my recent holiday to Mykonos and paired it with shorts and a pastel blue vest.

For my makeup I attempted (for the first time ever) a winged liner. I didn't go too dramatic with it, in fact its hardly noticeable in these pictures, but I did try. Due to the almond shape of my eyes I have always worried that a winged liner would make my eyes look too elongated and drawn out. However after wearing a subtle wing all day I may have to try it more often. If anything it seemed to open up my eyes making them look larger and almost doll like.

Also I'm hoping someone has noticed how curly my hair is looking! For those of you who follow me on Twitter you may have seen me mentioning I purchased coconut oil for the first time from an organic food store. So the night I bought it I massaged it into my scalp and plaited my hair with the aim of co-washing it the next day. However when I undid the plaits my hair looked so curly, shiny (for me) and healthy that I left it like this all day. Still now at the end of the day as I'm writing this my hair feels gloriously soft and has retained a natural looking healthy, but not oily, shine.

I also purchased from the organic food store some homemade Aloe Vera Gel. I tested it out on my edges which it has held down pretty well. Nevertheless I shall wait until I have used it properly to give a full recommendation.

Angel Necklace - Gift from a Local Jewellers
Flower Necklace - Urban Outfitters
In the end before I went out I put on these gold necklaces. I've recently been loving the layered necklace look and the varying colours of gold only add to the bohemian effect. This angel wing necklace is a particular favourite of mine as depending on the outfit it can look dark and edgy or feminine and pretty.

Thanks for reading guys! What are your favourite two trends to mix at the moment? And what other natural/organic hair products do you swear by? Let me know in the comments below or on Twitter.

Coachella | Celebrity Fashion

Pictures taken from Elle and The Mirror

Coachella not only seems to have amazing line ups and headlining news (I'm thinking Drake and Madonna) but it also seems to attract some of fashions biggest it girls and therefore their wardrobes. Something about festivals enables people to get as creative and eccentric with their wardrobe as they choose. Here are a few of my favourite celebrity fashions from the event.

First up is Gigi with those beautiful face diamantes she posted on instagram. Almost like a headband, they add a really sweet but quirky touch to her outfit that day. If only it was normal to walk around with face gems on your forehead all the time because I totally would.

I also loved Rosie HW's dress! It reminded me of the 70s boho vibe that's been present recently on the catwalk. I loved how she styled it down with an updo, large sunglasses and a small over the shoulder brown bag.

Jourdan Dunn also looked incredible for Coachella. I loved how she kept her outfit black to make the focus her brightly coloured hair. Also those fringed denim shorts are incredible.

Finally is Kendal Jenner with her ultimate hippie off the shoulder top (which Twitter tells me is from Nasty Gal). In all honesty she looks like she could be on the set of Pirates of the Caribbean and I don't mean this as an insult. She too looks really laid back boho which is perfect for a sunny festival.

Getting Back Into Fitness

Pictures taken from Pinterest

So recently I've been reminiscing about my fitness days and I miss being fit. Being fit has a lot of benefits to it, the important ones being how confident and healthy it makes you feel. You want to wear anything, do anything, be anything, because you feel like you can.

Fitness and exercise also helped me with a number of other things:
  • It helped me to establish a routine in my life and become more organised.
  • After exercising I was able to focus better on studies.
  • My skin got a lot better! (Possibly due to the large amounts of water I was drinking)
  • I slept easier at night.
So currently I'm trying to motivate myself to get back into fitness! I've set up a pinterest board called Healthy Inspiration to help inspire me and anyone else who wants to be more fit and healthy.

Are you into fitness? What is your key fitness tips and tricks you recommend?

Inspiration | Mom Jeans

Pictures taken from Tumblr

Mom Jeans are a key trend in street style at the moment. They're all over IG and Tumblr and can add a cool, grunge vibe to any outfit. I find that Mom jeans help to give a really hourglass figure especially when paired with a chunky belt.

The great thing about this trend as well is that it doesn't have to be expensive. As well as the usual high street stores, Mom jeans can be bought from vintage and second hand stores for reasonable prices. I found my acid wash mom jeans by Boohoo at my local charity shop for £8. A great find for me and all for a good cause.

What do you think of Mom Jeans? Would you wear them and how? Let me know in the comments below.
